My Big Bang Theory on the Missing MH370 Flight

No Coincidence

To me, it is no coincidence that it takes a pilot and a co-pilot to fly the plane and at the same time there are also 2 men who boarded the flight with stolen passports (http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/03/09/Two-passengers-using-passports-stolen-in-Thailand/). These men are probably linked with militants from China's Uighur Muslim minority (http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/03/09/Missing-MAS-flight-Uighur-link/). The timing of the flight (red-eye flight service to Beijing departed KLIA at 12.41am) and the fact that security checks at KLIA are not linked with Interpol database (which makes the stolen passports undetectable) (http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/03/09/missing-mas-flight-interpol-investigate-other-passports/) makes perfect sense. The hijackers must have discovered these facts during their preparation which makes MAS an easy target.

A Chilling Thought

What if those 2 men knew how to fly a plane? What if the turn around was performed by them instead of the original pilot and co-pilot? (http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/military-radar-trace-shows-mh370-turn-back-but-no-distress-signal). There was no distress signal or call because everyone in the plane including the pilot and co-pilot was subdued and rendered unconscious by some form of sleeping gas. Now that is a chilling thought.

Of Transponders, ELTs and the Black Box

The flight’s transponder could have been purposely shut off from the cockpit by those 2 hijackers and this was mentioned to be possible by Captain John M. Cox, pilot for US Airways for 25 years and now CEO of Safety Operating Systems (http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/03/10/Missing-MAS-flight-aviation-experts/). As for the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) and the ‘pinger’ on the black box, they did not go off simply because the plane did not crash.

Ransom Demand

If this theory could be proven then this simply means everyone is pretty much alive but taken hostage somewhere, probably in one of the underground Nazi mega structures nearby (http://docuwiki.net/index.php?title=Nazi_Megastructures). Of course the only way to prove this theory works is when a ransom demand is made in the following days to come. Another scary thought is that if this theory of mine is real, that means the hijackers must have people on the inside working for them but to what extent I dare not imagine.

A step by step guide to express marriage for Malaysian couples in Malaysia

What is an Express Marriage Licence?

Express Marriage License is issued under the provision of Section 21(1) Law Reform Act (Marriage and Divorce) 1976 which allows applicants to get a marriage license without notices. The Resident is empowered to approve this application. (Source : Resident Office, Kapit Division)

For those couple who wish to do an express marriage licence and wondering what is the procedure, I am posting the details as below to help ease the doubts and worries.

Express marriage is normally granted to those in the army and police forces due to their limited leave and out-of-district ruling as informed verbally by the JPN officer. However, in some special cases the express marriage consent is given to the public. Please make sure that you really have a valid reason to do express marriage in oppose to the normal procedure as both of you will go through an 'interview' process.

This guide is applicable for the State of Sarawak. For Peninsular Malaysia, see the procedure here.

Documents required:

2. 2 copies of Birth Certificates each
3. 2 copies of IC each
4. 1 copy of the most recent passport-size photos each

Procedure:

5. If not ok, you might need to prepare additional documents on top of the listed above.

B.
1. Go to a Commissioner of Oath. You can get advice from the JPN where you can find one.
2. Stamp Document 1 & 5.

4. Document 5&6 will be attached to the Resident Office internal form.
5. Depending on Resident Officer availability, the Letter of Approval can be produced immediately, or the same day, or you will be informed to come back at other times. This is the most crucial part. Please bear in mind that they also have the power to reject your application.

How to move almost all Android apps to SD card (no root required) - By Sergey Povzner

Moving (almost) all Android apps to SD card

To run commands which will enable Move to SD card button for most installed apps, you need to have adb executable on your computer. Adb stands for Android Debug Bridge and is used for Android software development, but it is a very useful tool to have for any advanced Android user. You do not need to have a rooted phone to run adb commands.
  1. To download the latest version of Android SDK (which includes adb executable), follow instructions from step 2 in the Installing the SDK article from the official Android development site. Note: you do not need to install any other software such as Eclipse for this procedure.
  2. After downloading the archive of the SDK, unzip it to any folder and remember its location (let’s call this folder ).
  3. If you are installing Android SDK on Windows machine, you also need to install USB driver as described in USB driver for Windows section.
  4. Connect the phone using USB cable and do not enable USB storage mode. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and enable USB debugging.
  5. Start terminal window on your computer (on Windows: click Start, type “cmd” and press Enter).
  6. In the terminal window, navigate to folder containing file named “adb” (\platform-tools folder) using this command: cd “full-path-to-sdk-platform-tools” (replace “full-path-to-sdk-platform-tools” with an actual path as shown in the screenshot below).
  7. Type the following lines in the terminal window and press Enter after each line:
    • adb devices
      • This checks that the phone is connected and is in the correct mode. You should see one entry in the list of the attached devices. If you get “device not found” error, see Troubleshooting section below.
    • adb shell
      • If you get “cannot find file” error and are using Mac or Linux, instead type: ./adb shell
    • pm set-install-location 2
      • (If this command doesn’t work try using the “old” command: pm setInstallLocation 2. Thanks to polosco for the tip.)
    • exit
    • Command prompt commands on Windows
      1. Now on your phone go to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications.
        • If you have Android 2.3 or later, click on USB Storage tab (may be called SD card). This tab shows a list of apps that either can be installed to SD card or are already on SD card. The ones that have checkbox on the right side are already moved to SD card (credit to Michael Scully for the tip).
        • On Android 2.2 and earlier if you don’s see USB Storage or SD Card tab, click on All tab.
        • Press hardware Menu button and select Sort by Size.
        • Tap on each app that is taking significant amount of space and tap Move to SD card button. Press hardware Back button and repeat.
        • (optional) To change the default installation location for new apps back to the internal phone memory,  go back to your terminal window and type:
          • pm setInstallLocation 0
        • (important) Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development and disable USB debugging. Leaving USB debugging enabled makes your phone vulnerable (e.g. lock pattern can be reset).
        • Enjoy!
